History

PAST

It all started in Grafton, Massachusetts in 1962. Like so many pioneers in their respected fields, Mrs. Dalton is self-taught, learning from experience and the love of animals. Mrs. Dalton began grooming on her back porch as a hobby. Soon she was grooming her friends pets. The response was so overwhelming, the Daltons converted their garage into a full service grooming facility. Over the years, they have expanded their operations to include:

"Dalton's Dog Shoppe" of Worcester, Mass.
"Dalton's Dog Shoppe Too" of Worcester, Mass.
"Dalton's School of Dog Grooming" (one of the first in the country)
"Cherrywood Kennels and Grooming" (located on a 2.5 acre facility in Shrewsbury, Mass.)
"The Pampered Pet" of Stuart, Florida
"Bayshore Pet Grooming" of Port St. Lucie, Florida

The family continues to operate the facility in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, and Bayshore Pet Grooming and Boarding in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Mrs. Dalton now divides half her year in Shrewsbury and the other half traveling as an International American Kennel Club Best of Show Judge.

PRESENT

Upon opening Bayshore Pet Grooming and Boarding, the family involvement also expanded. Sandy and Barry Dalton, (the second generation) have become the main force behind the day-to-day operation of this ever evolving pet facility. You can be assured to find one of them, their son, daughters or granddaughter there to help you. Along with a full staff of professionals.
